Nowadays, more and more foreign companies invest in Ho Chi Minh City which makes it a trend for foreigners to move to Ho Chi Minh city to live and work here. To satisfy these needs, many apartment hotels has been built such as Somerset on Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Phu My Hung in District 7 and The Manor in District 2.
When staying in these apartment hotels, you are supposed to pay the rental cost every month which is lower than what you pay for staying in a hotel every day. Though you pay less amount of money, you still can enjoy the services as good as a 5-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, most of the apartment hotels are located far away from the city center like Phu My Hung or the Manor. Therefore, you don’t have to face the traffic jams every day like in the city.
Many shopping malls, supermarkets and other kinds of entertainment are available around these apartment hotels so you do not have to travel all the way to the center of the city. Living far away from the center is also good because you can avoid the noisiness and the pollution of the city. After a hard-working day, you would want to go back home and enjoy yourselves rather than get stuck in a traffic jam for hours. The only disadvantage is that it might take you longer time to get to the city center which is about 15 – 20 minutes for driving.
The price is different among apartments and is calculated on the area. For example, an apartment in Somerset building costs $35/m2. The most expensive one is the Manor in District 2 with the rental fee for a typical apartment is about $1,300/month. For an apartment at Phu My Hung, it costs you about $900 /month.
