Visa Information

As of 2025, Norwegian citizens still do not require a visa for stays of less than 15 days when entering Vietnam. For stays exceeding 15 days, two options are available to obtain a visa:

Option 1:

Applying via the Embassy of Vietnam in Norway: You can apply for a visa in person at the Vietnam Embassy in Oslo, Norway.

Option 2:

Visa on Arrival: Norwegian citizens can apply for a single entry visa on arrival, which permits a maximum stay of 90 days. Travelers must secure an approval letter from a reliable travel agency prior to boarding their flight to Vietnam.
