International Tourism Expo 2011 to be held in HCMC

The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Vietnam is planning to organize the International Tourism Expo 2011 in Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2011) at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.

The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Vietnam is excited to announce the upcoming International Tourism Expo 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2025) with the theme “Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam – Four countries, one rendezvous.” The expo is set to take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, located at 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7.

A range of engaging activities will occur during the fair in September:

September 10: Recommended Destinations for Buyers conference and Vietnam Gala Dinner 
September 11 - 14: International Tourism Expo
September 12: Approaching Major Markets—Strategies for Sellers
September 9 - 15: Buyers and Media Program

According to the organizing committee, the main goals of ITE HCMC 2025 include attracting ‘buyers’ from various travel agencies targeting the North American market (U.S., Canada), Europe (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia), Oceania (Australia), Northeast Asia (Japan, South Korea, China), South Asia (India), Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland), and ASEAN (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines). Additionally, the expo aims to engage mass media agencies with representation from approximately 15 international media organizations across America, Europe, the Middle East, ASEAN, and Australia, along with around 300 booths hosting both domestic and international sellers.

Many activities during this series of events will be open to the public. Travel agencies interested in participating in the conference or reserving a booth can register by visiting the official website of the expo.

Visa information:

* Visitors from East Asia (Japan, South Korea) or Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland) are permitted to stay in Vietnam for up to 15 days without needing a visa.
* Visitors from Southeast Asian nations can remain in Vietnam for 30 days without a visa.
* Other visitors are required to obtain a visa for entry into Vietnam. This can be arranged through a local embassy or online via a Vietnam travel agency. For more details, see our Visa Information page.

How to get there:

The Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center is located in the bustling Phu My Hung residential area, approximately 15 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City Center and 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
