Hope Box brings art to the community

Hope Box is a series of contemporary art projects founded by Polish artist Rienke Enghardt in 1991. Rienke defines this idea as an exploration of art in various fields and a venue of friendship.
Since 1993, Rienke has been working in Vietnam in the arts field and paid visits to many famous Vietnamese artists, including the late Tran Trung Tin (1933-2008) – who had inspired her to put together two exhibitions of hundreds paintings at Blue Space, Ho Chi Minh City and Galerie Nouvelles Images, Den Haag, Poland in 1997.
The coming exhibition displays Hope Box’s notable works in the last 18 years cooperating with Vietnamese artists. Those works are implemented under the form of interaction, for example 4 different pieces of a Rienke’s completed painting will be sent to 4 different artists in Vietnam, South Africa, Russia and Australia to develop it to complete new works.
Rienke also has another scheme this time, which is the project of decorating a train and bringing graffiti art to primary and international schools in Ha Noi, and Hai Phong city. The group is now drafting the idea and completing procedures to summit to Vietnamese authorities.
