Ingredients

  • 2tsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 bananads
  • Sugar

Preparation

  1. Steam the bananas for approximately 15 minutes, then allow them to cool completely.
  2. Coat the steamed bananas in desiccated coconut, mixing them with sugar and additional desiccated coconut for extra flavor.
  3. Pack the mixture into banana leaves and let it sit for about 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
  4. Roast the packed banana leaves until they turn a deep reddish-brown color.
  5. Serve the bananas once they have cooled down to an enjoyable temperature.
