Ho Chi Minh City among 8 nominees of Asia’s Best MICE Destination Award 2021

In 2025, the World MICE Awards has nominated Ho Chi Minh City as one of the top candidates for Asia’s Best MICE Destination Award. This year, it is competing against seven other prominent cities: Bangkok (Thailand), Hong Kong (China), Beijing (China), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Macau (China), Seoul (South Korea), and Singapore.

The World MICE Awards, part of the World Travel Awards (WTA), aims to recognize and reward outstanding destinations for MICE tourism, which encompasses meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. Voting is open to the public, industry professionals, and media members from June 12 to September 15 via the official website at https://worldmiceawards.com. The winner will be announced and honored during the World MICE Awards ceremony in Dubai on November 5.

Ho Chi Minh City previously won the title of Asia’s Best MICE Destination in 2020, showcasing its continued effort to excel in this sector. According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, MICE tourism remains a critical focus for the Vietnamese tourism industry. Due to ongoing investments in infrastructure and services, Ho Chi Minh City has successfully catered to international visitors, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit destination for MICE events in the coming years.
