The Return Of Firework Shows on Reunification Day In Ho Chi Minh City
After a brief hiatus, firework performances will return to commemorate Reunification Day on April 30, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced that firework displays will be staged at two main locations: the Thu Thiem Tunnel (connecting District 1 and District 2) and Dam Sen Park (District 11).
The high-altitude pyrotechnic shows at these sites will last for 15 minutes, beginning at 9 pm.

This year's Reunification Day (April 30) and Labor Day (May 1) fall on a weekend, providing Vietnamese citizens with a 4-day holiday to enjoy.
Since the challenges faced by the pandemic in prior years, Ho Chi Minh City has gradually reinstated public events, reinstating fireworks displays for major occasions once again.
