The Return Of Firework Shows on Reunification Day In Ho Chi Minh City

After a year's absence, firework performances will be brought back to celebrate Reunification Day on 30th April in Ho Chi Minh City.

The city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism had decided to set off firework shows in two primary venues including Thu Thiem Tunnel (between District 1 and District 2) and Dam Sen Park (District 11).

To be more specific, the high-altitude pyrotechnics in these two destinations will last 15 minutes starting from 9 pm.

This year's Reunification Day (April 30th) and Labor Day (May 1st) will fall on the weekend thus Vietnamese citizens will enjoy a 4-day holiday consecutively.

Due to the impacts of the Covid-19 outbreak, there were no fireworks displayed on the Lunar New Year and other special occasions over the last two years.
