Tourism Program “Drop by the North West – Son La 2011”
In order to foster Son La tourism development in particular, as well as creating a tourism linkage among North West provinces like Son La, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, a tourism program named “Drop by the North West – Son La 2011” will be held in Son La, from August 27th to September 2nd, 2011.
Son La, a province in the North West area of Vietnam endowed with picturesque mountainous scenery and cool weather all year around, is a hot spot for eco-tourism development. Moreover, here is also the home to 12 ethnic groups featuring diversified culture and customs, creating favorable conditions for cultural or community-based tourism. Besides, Son La is well-known for agricultural products like tea and milk products. However, Moc Chau, the town in Son La has not been paid enough attention regarding its tourism potentials.
In order to foster Son La tourism development in particular, as well as creating a tourism linkage among North West provinces like Son La, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Lai Chau…, a tourism program named “Drop by the North West – Son La 2011” will be held in Son La, from August 27th to September 2nd, 2011.
Coming to Son La these days, tourists will be immersed in bustling festival atmosphere with a great number of cultural, sport and commercial activities such as Commercial Fair, Traditional Cuisine Fair, Photo Exhibition, “Xoe” Festival and many traditional sport games of ethnic inhabitants.
Exhibition to highlight Vietnam’s heritage and handicrafts to be held in December
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism informed that an exhibition honoring Vietnam’s cultural heritage and traditional handicrafts will be held in Ninh Binh province from 17 to 24 December 2021.
