Following the success of the March debut, Hanoi Flea Market is back on May 6 on a much bigger scale at the Foot Ball Field No. 264 Au Co on the Red River side from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Like other flea markets around the world, Hanoi Flea Market offers a wide range of goods with something for all who attend. Highlights of the market will be vintage stalls where fashionistas can find treasures or long looked-for items at basement prices. Customers can also expect handmade goods and interior décor items from young-spirited brands at reasonable prices.

With summer on its way, the organizers have titled ‘Summer of Love’ as the main theme of the event, with inspiration from the hippie and gypsy aesthetic of the 1960s and 1970s, and a commitment to peace, nature and community. Organizers also aims to bring about a true festival feel, with entertaining music by local and foreign musicians, a venue for portraits and temporary tattoos, and a good selection of food and drinks.

The first full-fledge flea market was organized in March in Hanoi and was hailed as a secondhand mecca by vintage fans. This time, the flea markets determines to be more than just a shopping fix and encourages people to be more friendly and understanding towards nature, be responsible citizens in their community and to protect the environment.
