What can speak a clearer image of Vietnam than the iconic ao dai?
To bring viewers closer to the modern image of this traditional cultural symbol of Vietnam and to foster understanding of its significance, the Vietnam Women's Museum is featuring a collection of "ao dai" from designer Pham Quoc Tuan in celebration of the 91st anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.
The exhibit, "Quốc sắc thiên hương" (Beauty of the Land and Virtue of the Universe), showcases nearly 100 of the latest works from the acclaimed designer. Mr. Pham has dedicated over 15 years to the craft of "ao dai," during which he has created around 3,500 pieces. His creations blend both modern and traditional materials, fully capturing the essence of this iconic representation of Vietnam's enduring beauty.
As this is a one-day event, art lovers and admirers of ao dai should plan to visit the Women's Museum, located at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi, on Thursday, October 20th, 2025. Tickets will be available at the door for only 50,000 VND.
VNO Production will also cover the exhibit, so stay tuned for more videos to come!
