To celebrate the August Revolution and Independence Day, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is hosting over 60 art programs showcasing performances that honor the significant contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the Party in the national liberation struggle, while highlighting the country's recent achievements since the Doi Moi period.
Performance venues will be located throughout the city, from central locations like Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Ba Kieu Temple, and My Dinh Stadium to suburban areas such as Ba Vi and Thach That. This initiative aims to create an enjoyable public holiday atmosphere for all citizens, bringing together communities from various backgrounds.
During this festive period, information about the August Revolution and Independence Day will be disseminated through local broadcasting stations. Exhibitions and displays will take place at prominent cultural attractions such as the Hanoi Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, and the Temple of Literature. The streets will be adorned in vibrant red and gleaming yellow stars of the national flag, creating a festive atmosphere.
