Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

On arrival at Ho Chi Minh's Tan Son Nhat International airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in town. Free at the rest of the day. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City > Cu Chi Tunnel

Morning visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon enjoy a half day tour to 200-km-long legendary Cu Chi Tunnel, where was enormously devastated by bomb and mine. Visit the tunnels and watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla's food during the war). Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Saigon

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City > Mekong Delta > Ho Chi Minh City

Morning pick up at your hotel then leave Saigon, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Boat ride to An Khanh - a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan. Enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the local sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music". Visit a family business epitomizing the idyllic rural lifestyle. Meet the bus and return to Saigon with fascinating collection of beautiful memories. Drop off at hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Saigon

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City > Flight to Hue

Morning free for relaxing, discovering the city or shopping on your own until time for transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrive to Hue, transfer to hotel. Meals are on your own. Evening enjoy a traditional music performance along Perfume River. Overnight in Hue

Day 5: Hue City Tour

Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel. Start for a lovely day sightseeing tour in Hue. Stop to visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Thien Mu Pagoda. Lunch in a local restaurant. Drive to visit King Minh Mang's tomb & King Tu Duc's tomb. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hue

Day 6: Hue > Hoi An

After breakfast, leave the world Heritage Hue for Hoi An, passing the Hai Van pass. On the way, stop to visit Lang Co beach, the Marble Mountain. Arrive to Hoi An, check in hotel and have some free time to explore the ancient town. Have a relaxing time on the beach. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 7: Hoi An Ancient Town

Morning enjoy a half day orientation tour of Hoi An including the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and Tan Ky House. Free time to shopping or relaxing. Meals are on your own. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An > Da Nang > Hanoi

Transfer directly to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi after breakfast. Upon arrive to Hanoi, transfer to hotel by our local guide. Free until time to meet our local guide again for a Water Puppet performance. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi

Day 9: Hanoi City Tour

Morning pick up and enjoy a day Hanoi city tour including Ho Chi Minh complex (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, The Presidential Palace, House on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda). Continue to visit the Temple of Literature - the First University of Vietnam. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afterward, visiting Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Return to Hanoi Old Quarter for a daily-life-discovering walking tour. Return to hotel. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 10: Halong Bay Excursion

3.5-hour morning drive to Halong Bay City. Take a board for a four-hour cruise on the stunning bay. Stop along the way to visit one of the most miraculous limestone caves in the area. A sumptuous seafood lunch is warmly served by cruise crews. Sail back to harbor after 4-hour navigation and rejoin car back to hotel in Hanoi. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Hanoi
