Day 3: Arrival in Lao Cai & Sapa Exploration
You will arrive in Lao Cai in the morning, where our driver will take you directly to your hotel for check-in. After a short rest, enjoy a local breakfast. You will have the morning free for self-exploration, where you can visit local minority villages in Sapa and stroll through the lush green paddy fields. Return to your hotel for the night. After breakfast at your hotel, visit the Cao Son Market, a bustling marketplace where ethnic minorities such as the H'mong, Dao, Tay, and Nung gather to sell local products and enjoy camaraderie over cups of corn wine. Following a local lunch, you will take a boat trip down the Chay River. Enjoy dinner at your hotel before boarding the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
