Can you believe that we are already in the last week of July 2025? Some may shrug it off, while others exclaim in disbelief, “Oh my goodness!” Just like us, as deadlines loom and news piles up. However, our busy work schedule doesn't prevent us from bringing you Vietnam Online This Week! We hope that many of you continue to read and find enjoyment in this weekly report.

Vietnam Weather

Hanoi is experiencing intense heat, exceeding typical temperatures for the end of July (though Hanoi has a reputation for being hot every July). The sun shines brightly until around 6:45 p.m. each day. On the plus side, there have been no storms disrupting outdoor activities this month.

However, be cautious, as national meteorological services have issued a warning for an incoming storm named Nock-ten, expected to hit the northern region of Vietnam this Sunday. Forecasts indicate that it will bring widespread rain until August 2nd, so traveling to Halong Bay during this period may not be advisable.

In contrast, Ho Chi Minh City is caught in a mix of rain and sun, providing a slight relief for those sensitive to heat but a challenge for travelers hoping to enjoy sightseeing. Temperatures fluctuate between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius (75 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit) and are expected to remain steady throughout the week.
