Weather in Vietnam this week:
Hanoi is currently experiencing its typical summer weather, with a mix of sunshine and rain. The cool spell lasted until just last weekend, giving way to hotter conditions. Heavy showers have caused many motorbike riders to take cover and don their rain gear. Inside offices, air conditioning is still in heavy use to combat the rising temperatures that often follow these brief but intense rains (see Hanoi weather by month).

Ho Chi Minh City is nearing the peak of the rainy season, with quick downpours and the occasional small storm almost every afternoon. The temperature is relatively comfortable, ranging from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius. It may be advisable to choose indoor activities like visiting museums or tourist attractions during the afternoon showers and enjoy outdoor plans in the morning when the sun is more favorable (see Ho Chi Minh City weather by month).
