VIETNAM ONLINE THIS WEEK: JAN 9-15

In contrast with the coldness and moisture in Hanoi, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City is rather hot and dry with average temperature about 27oC and humidity of 70%.

Vietnam Weather:

Hanoi: As of mid-January 2025, Hanoi's weather is chilly, with temperatures hovering around 16°C. Among the last three days of the week, Sunday is expected to be the warmest, reaching highs of 18°C. While brief sunny breaks are anticipated on Friday, light rain is characteristic for the weekend, resonating with Hanoi's spring weather, particularly as Tet approaches. The cool temperatures combined with relatively high humidity (approximately 82%) can lead to respiratory illnesses, so it is advisable to dress warmly, wear a scarf, and use a mask when venturing outside.

Da Nang: On Friday, Da Nang is experiencing high humidity at 94% and heavy rainfall, making conditions unpleasant. However, the weather improves over the weekend, with light rain on Saturday and warm sunshine expected on Sunday. The average temperature of 23°C throughout these days is likely to delight tourists. Outdoor activities such as a trip to Ba Na Mountain or a forest trek on Son Tra Peninsula will be ideal weekend plans.
