Jetstar allows apricot and peach blossoms carrying for Tet

The budget airline Jetstar Pacific has facilitated passengers carrying apricot and peach blossoms from now on until February 7th, 2012 as a special luggage consignment service for the upcoming Tet holiday. 

 
One passenger is permitted to bring along no more than two branches of apricot or peach blossoms with maximum size of 50cm x 50cm x 120cm. 
Transporting fee is VND 250,000, applying for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and VND 350,000 for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi/ Hai Phong/ Vinh. 
 
Passengers using this service must book directly at official booking offices of Jetstar Pacific or via PBX 1900-1550. Online payments by credit card (Visa/Master) on Jetstar’s official website or by cash at Jetstar booking office are accepted.

According to the representative of Jetstar, the demand of transportation by air increases dramatically in Tet occasion. To avoid overcrowding inconvenience, passengers are advised to go to the airport earlier than usual (about two hours before departure time) for procedures.
 
Jetstar Pacific has been known as the leading low-cost airline in Vietnam for recent years. However, its number one position is being threatened by the formidable new comer VietJet Air which is also operating apricot/peach blossom transportation service with cheaper transport fee at VND 330,000 for flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and different size at 40cm x 40cm x 150cm, applying from January 10th to February 10th, 2012.
