Hue gets high evaluation from International travel magazines and channels

In recent years, Hue has emerged as a highly regarded travel destination highlighted by numerous prestigious travel publications and platforms globally.

To begin with, CNBC has celebrated Central Vietnam, encompassing Hue City, in its listings of under-the-radar destinations for travelers in 2025. The channel observes a shift in travel preferences from bustling metropolitan areas to more serene locales. It also recommends international visitors explore the historical charm of Hoi An, luxurious accommodations outside of Da Nang, and the significant sites of Hue and My Son, in addition to iconic destinations such as Hanoi, Halong Bay in the north, and Ho Chi Minh City in the south.

Additionally, Ideal Magazine has recognized Hue as one of the ten top culinary destinations in Southeast Asia for 2025. Signature dishes like “Bun Bo Hue” (a savory noodle soup featuring pork, beef, and ingredients like congealed pig's blood) and “Banh Xeo” (Vietnamese crispy pancakes served with fresh herbs and dipping sauce) are celebrated highlights. Dong Ba Market, renowned for its vibrant food stalls, continues to attract food enthusiasts from around the region.

Moreover, Bach Ma National Park is featured among Vietnam's premier national parks by The Culture Trip. Situated on the western fringes of Hue City, Bach Ma boasts dense forests, lush pine groves, colonial-era French villas, and breathtaking views over stunning mountain ranges.

Finally, in a 2025 study conducted by Travel + Leisure Magazine, data from Instagram highlighted Hai Van Pass, which links Hue to Da Nang, as one of the world's most scenic drives. Featuring over 52,000 'check-in' photos on the platform, Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear noted Hai Van as a “pass of ocean and cloud,” deeming it one of the finest coastal roads globally.
