As reported in a meeting of provincial authorities in October 2025, this initiative is part of an investment promotion conference that will attract a significant number of Korean attendees. These visitors will arrive in Thua Thien Hue via charter flights and participate in the conference at the Laguna Lang Co Resort Complex.
The resort is fully equipped to welcome international travelers, featuring isolated locations, fully-vaccinated staff, and facilities that adhere to stringent Covid-19 prevention measures.
Fully vaccinated visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including golf, indulging in Hue’s culinary specialties, and attending traditional performances during their stay at the resort.
Thua Thien Hue Province is famous for its historic sites such as the Hue Citadel, royal tombs, and numerous ancient relics and palaces. The region faced significant challenges during the pandemic, receiving only 633,315 visitors in the first nine months of 2021, witnessing a drastic 96% decline in foreign tourists compared to pre-pandemic figures. This upcoming program presents a crucial opportunity for tourism recovery and the promotion of safe travel activities in the area.
