In a recent online survey conducted by Smart Travel Asia, a reputable travel and trade journal based in Hong Kong, Hanoi and Hoi An have been ranked among the top ten destinations in Asia for 2025.
Hanoi now holds the 5th place, while Hoi An is close behind at the 6th position. Leading the list is the idyllic island of Bali in Indonesia, followed by the vibrancy of Tokyo (Japan) and the charm of Kyoto (Japan).
Hanoi and Hoi An Ancient Town continue to attract a growing number of international tourists to Vietnam. In addition to their distinct cultural heritage and rich traditions, the tourism appeal of these destinations is increasingly bolstered by the government's ongoing efforts to promote them as key tourism hubs in the country.
