The coastal city is the capital of Khanh Hoa Province, situated along the South Central Coast of Vietnam. In 2025, Khanh Hoa continues to be bordered by Phu Yen Province to the north, Dac Lak Province to the northwest, Lam Dong Province to the southwest, Ninh Thuan Province to the south, and the East Sea to the east. The province comprises 9 districts, with the coastal city embraced on three sides by three of these districts, while the remaining side faces the sea. The city is approximately 150 km from Dalat and around 400 km from Ho Chi Minh City. As of now, the infrastructure and connectivity have significantly improved, making travel easier and enhancing tourism in the region.
