Picture book on General Vo Nguyen Giap exhibited

A new picture book about General Vo Nguyen Giap entitled “General Vo Nguyen Giap, A Century – Two Resistance Wars” is currently being exhibited at Gallery No. 45, Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.

The book, which spans 130 pages, features nearly 300 images of the General. It has been published by Kim Dong Publishing House to commemorate the 114^th anniversary of his birth (1911-2025). These valuable photographs have been gathered from various sources and are organized in chronological order to illustrate the life and career of this legendary General, along with his significant contributions to the Party and the nation’s revolutionary history. Notably, many images in the book are being shared with the public for the first time.

This exhibition and the accompanying book provide contemporary audiences, particularly younger generations, with an engaging perspective on the distinguished military leader of the Vietnamese armed forces and the two heroic resistance wars of the 20^th century, delivering meaningful historical insights. The display will run until September 30, 2025, so be sure to visit Trang Tien Street to appreciate this remarkable collection.
