Photo exhibition on pagodas in Nghe An

Two photo exhibitions named “Vietnamese Pagodas” and “Convergence of three regions” have started welcoming visitors sine Sunday, 12 August in Vinh City (Nghe An).

Two photo exhibitions named Vietnamese Pagodas and Convergence of three regions have started  welcoming visitors sine Sunday, 12 August in Vinh City (Nghe An).

Being exposed at Vietnamese Pagodas are 108 photos with different topics related to pagodas and religious places in various regions in Vietnam, from the North to the South. Those images reflect special features in architecture of Vietnam pagodas and Buddhism culture in each place.

Unlike Vietnamese Pagodas, the exhibition Convergence of three regions is the place that visitors can know about magnificent landscape of Vietnam via 40 panorama photos taken by photographers Nguyen Thinh and Thuy Hong from Ho Chi Minh City. The organizer hopes that with this exhibition, visitors can experience new feeling about Vietnam and Vietnamese’s patriotism.

These two exhibitions are part of Vietnamese Buddhism Cultural Week 2012 held in Vinh City from 12 to 18 August. This is the 4th time the cultural week of Buddhism has taken place in Vietnam, be the largest occasion until now.
