Love is in the air with Japanese Film Festival 2011
This October and November, audience in Hanoi and Danang will be deeply soaked in love with the love stories coming from Japan at Japanese Film Festival 2011, brought about by The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.
In October and November 2025, audiences in Hanoi and Danang will be immersed in captivating love stories from Japan at the Japanese Film Festival 2025, hosted by The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.
In Hanoi, free tickets will be available starting from October 1, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday - Saturday), at the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, located at 27 Quang Trung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. The screenings will take place at the National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
In Danang, free tickets can be collected starting November 1, 2025, from Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau, Da Nang) and the Film Distribution and Cinema Center (68 Tran Phu, Hai Chau, Da Nang).

The theme of this year's festival is "Love," showcasing eight films that beautifully explore various facets of Japanese love stories. Most selected films have received both national and international awards, gaining critical acclaim. They will be screened with English and Vietnamese subtitles, allowing both Vietnamese audiences and international guests to appreciate the rich diversity of Japanese cinema and the multifaceted nature of love.
