Craft fair to be held in Nam Dinh Province

An announcement from Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development states that the annual Craft Village Fair 2012 is projected to be organized from September 25 to 30 at Hoa Binh Square, Nam Dinh Province.

An announcement from Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development states that the annual Craft Village Fair 2012 is projected to be organized from September 25 to 30 at Hoa Binh Square, Nam Dinh Province.

Like the previous year, the fair this year mainly concentrates on introducing crafts and honoring craftsmen from various regions all over Vietnam. This is also regarded as an effort in preserving traditional elite, and boosting trade and tourism.

Exhibited in this fair are 300 stands of handicrafts from the North to the South of Vietnam, including various crafts typically Vietnamese such as Non La or traditional fine art. Moreover, the processes to create those crafts are also reproduced to help visitors know how the products are made.

Besides main exhibition, the final round of 9th Vietnam Handicraft Contest is also taken place to choose the crafts that will be presented at honored area of the fair.
