Central Highlands cultural days back to Hanoi
As announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the second Central Highlands cultural days in Hanoi is scheduled to take place at Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, 2 Hoa Lu Street from August 28th to September 2nd.
As announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the third Central Highlands Cultural Days in Hanoi is scheduled to take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, 2 Hoa Lu Street from August 28th to September 2nd, 2025.
The event will feature a variety of cultural activities, including an exhibition dedicated to the Central Highlands, a gastronomy fair, traditional literature and performing arts showcases, as well as exchanges and seminars. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV and Hanoi TV channels.
The cultural days will coincide with the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day. It is jointly organized by the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Central Highlands, and the relevant agencies in Hanoi.
This 6-day event aims to honor the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands, promote the economy and tourism in Central Highlands provinces, and encourage ethnic minority communities to enrich their cultural lives and foster socio-economic development in alignment with the strategic importance of the Central Highlands in Vietnam's historical and contemporary context.
The Central Highlands region is characterized by its unique climate, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cultures of the ethnic minorities who reside there. This area holds significant historical value in Vietnam, and the Central Highlands Cultural Days were established in Hanoi to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of its diverse communities.
