Appreciate Cham culture on Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a series of cultural activities to mark the Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Day – Nov 23rd.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced a series of cultural activities to celebrate Vietnam's Cultural Heritage Day on November 23.

This year's festival will take place on November 23-24 at the Culture – Tourism Village of Vietnam Ethnic Groups located in Sơn Tây, Hanoi. The event aims to honor the Cham ethnic group, one of the 54 recognized ethnic minorities in Vietnam.

The lineup of activities will showcase a variety of traditional events from the Cham and other ethnic communities across Vietnam. Highlights will include the Kate Festival, a reenactment of traditional weddings of the Cham people in An Giang, and an exhibition featuring the lifestyles of various minority groups. A special opening ceremony featuring spectacular artistic performances is scheduled for the evening of November 23.
