Pecha Kucha Night will be held at Hanoi Cinematheque from 8.00 to 10.00pm on September 29th (Thursday). This is the first time this global phenomenal artistic event is organized in Hanoi.

The night is expected to satisfy participants with many informal presentations on art performing by artists and art-lovers who are working and residing in Hanoi. They come from various artist communities in Hanoi such as photography, culture, design and charity, with the main purpose of connecting to passionate friends, presenting a creative idea or simply telling a good story to the audiences.

Pecha Kucha Night is a global artistic event originating from Japan but now spreading to more than 432 cities around the world. The night is simply a stage for people to show their creation and ideas via a short presentation in “20x20” format, which means “20 images for all, 20 seconds for each image”.

Presenters at Pecha Kucha Night do not need to be professional, but passionate and able to inspire audiences with their presentations.

Pecha Kucha is brought to Hanoi by Colin Campbell and Pham Van Anh, two art-lovers who have lived in Japan for a long time and who have attended numerous Pecha Kuchas Tokyo.

The event is opened to all guests, free of charge, with snacks soft beverage services. Interested visitors can contact the organizers via email pechakuchahanoi@gmail.com for more information on how to participate in and how to register for a presentation.
