2nd Vietnam-Japan Music Festival at Hanoi Opera House this Sunday

The prestigious second Vietnam- Japan Music Festival is going to be held at Hanoi Opera House, at 8.00 pm, October 9th, 2011 as a special gift from Japan to the Vietnamese audience and just about anyone who loves Japanese music and culture.

The prestigious Vietnam-Japan Music Festival is set to take place at the Hanoi Opera House on October 9th, 2025, at 8:00 pm. This event serves as a special tribute from Japan to the Vietnamese audience, as well as anyone who appreciates Japanese music and culture.

Featuring the Goodwill Ambassador of Japan-Vietnam, Sugi Ryotaro (a former celebrated drama actor), alongside other prominent Japanese artists such as Godai Natsuko (a leading folk music artist), and energetic bands like AAA, Exile, W-inds, and AKB48, the festival promises to showcase both the traditional and contemporary aspects of Japanese music.

Additionally, the public will have the opportunity to join in the festivities and enjoy the performances through two large screens set up outside the opera house. The music festival will also be broadcast live on VTV3 (Vietnam Television Station’s channel) and aired on NHK (Japanese television channel).

This festival is part of various events celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Hanoi Opera House. It serves as a cultural bridge aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnam and Japan. The inaugural Vietnam-Japan Music Festival occurred in May 2008, attracting thousands of attendees in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
