Café des Arts

Café Des Art is a romantic corner of France right inside the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter which any customer would not forget after one visit. Established in 1998, Cafes Des Art is the first restaurant on Bao Khanh Street one of the most beautiful street in Hanoi.

The restaurant is designed with French architecture resembling a microcosm of antique Europe. Like its name Cafes Des Art (Coffee of Art), crossing its wooden stairs is a exhibition room filled with oil painting of Vietnamese famous artists like Nguyen Son Lam, Vu Thuy, Yen Sinh or Dat Ro together with lacquers painted by Mr. Gastel – owner of the restaurant and many antiques of different historical period. All the things make up a cozy and elegant ambiance for gourmets to enjoy relaxing moment.

Here, foodies have chances to taste Western foods, especially French traditional gastronomy. With many years of experience and passion in cooking, the French chef of Cafes Des Art would surprise gourmets by special foods like Rossini beef with goose liver or Steak Tarta fresh beef.

Additionally, the first floor of Café Des Art is Stop-Café serving fast food and drink in a simple but subtle decoration of French and Vietnamese furniture.

Take Le Hong Phong St first. Keep going until you pass the intersection of it and Chu Van An St. The restaurant is on the left hand side and close to Le Gourmet restaurant
