Vietnamese food to be displayed at Foodex Japan 2012

11 food companies from different areas of Vietnam are attending the 37th International Food and Beverage Exhibition (Foodex Japan 2012), said representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. This is a great chance for Vietnam’s food companies to enlarge the gate to penetrate on Japan markets, as well as display elite of Vietnam’s cuisine to global customers.

All of these Vietnamese firms are experts in promoting special products of Vietnam, including diverse kinds of unique foods and beverages of different regions of Vietnam, to international markets. They are also giant exporters who have great competency to bring Vietnam foods and drinks to foreign countries.

However, at this exhibition, those Vietnam companies only introduce some of their advanced products, mostly agricultural foods such as vegetables, fruit, juice or coffee.

Foodex Japan is an annual exhibition first organized in 1976. This is considered the largest food and beverage expo, in term of both visitors and participants, in Asia. This year Foodex is held at Makuhari Messe Exhibition Centre in Chiba (Eastern Japan) from March 6 to 9 with participation of 2000 companies from 72 countries.
