Traditional Tet Ambiance Felt on All VNA Domestic Flights

As Tet Nguyen Dan, the most anticipated national festival of the year, approaches from January 22 to February 1, 2025, business class passengers on local flights departing from Ho Chi Minh City for journeys of 2 hours or more with Vietnam Airlines will be treated to an array of traditional Tet holiday specialties.

Specifically, business class travelers can expect a delightful selection of traditional dishes that evoke the flavors of Tet, including Banh Chung, fried pork, pickled vegetables, jellied pork, and an assortment of seasonal fruits. These dishes are meticulously crafted by the National Services Corporation (NSC) and Vietnam Airline Catering Services (VAC), both subsidiaries of Vietnam Airlines, to guarantee freshness and quality.

By offering these traditional culinary experiences, the national flag carrier aims to create a sense of familiarity and connection for passengers during the Lunar New Year and to celebrate the unique cultural heritage of the Vietnamese people.

In its effort to enhance culinary variety, Vietnam Airlines has also introduced a revamped dining menu for the route between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, refreshed every 15 days. The economy class menu features new additions such as Thang Long grilled fish, Mekong-style fried noodles, and an array of sweet soups. Meanwhile, business class continues to enjoy a selection of classic dishes, including sticky rice, eggs stuffed with mushrooms and sausages, and Russian salad.
