National Tourism Year 2013 to focus on Red River Delta

Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just published detailed program for National Tourism Year 2013. This new national tourism year concentrates on tourism in Red River Delta, and Do Son Beach at Hai Phong province is placed at the central position.

The Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently announced the detailed program for National Tourism Year 2025. This year's tourism celebration focuses on the Red River Delta region, with Do Son Beach in Hai Phong province being the centerpiece of events.

As part of the festivities, a variety of activities will be organized across numerous provinces and cities within the Red River Delta, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, and Hai Duong.

Diverse cultural, artistic, and sports activities, overseen by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with other relevant ministries and local departments, are expected to take place. Events will include street performances, culinary festivals, and sports competitions.

The opening ceremony for the 2025 National Tourism Year is scheduled to be held in Hai Phong on May 11, 2025. This date also marks the 71st anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong (May 11, 1954). The closing ceremony is scheduled to occur later in the year.

The National Tourism Year is an annual initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The previous year's program spotlighted tourism in Hue and the North-Central region of Vietnam, marking a series of successful events.
