Hongkong Airlines To Resume Flights To Vietnam
Hongkong Airlines is set to resume international flights to Vietnam starting next month (June 2025), following a lengthy suspension of over two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beginning on June 6, 2025, the airline will operate two weekly flights connecting Hong Kong and Hanoi.

In addition to Vietnam, Hongkong Airlines plans to reinstate flights to South Korea. Since the pandemic, Hong Kong has maintained some of the strictest COVID-19 policies and entry regulations. In contrast, Vietnam has adopted a more relaxed approach, offering quarantine-free entry since March 15, 2022. Furthermore, as of May 15, 2022, authorities have lifted pre-entry COVID-19 testing requirements for foreign visitors to Vietnam.
