Hoi An leads Vietnam’s Top 10 best destinations for photography
On the recent World Photography Day on August 19, a survey conducted by the Booking.com website revealed Top 10 best places for photography in Vietnam in which Hoi An atop the list, followed by Sapa, and Hanoi.
Thanks to the beauty of ancient houses with yellow walls and tiled roofs preserved for centuries, Hoi An wins the heart of travelers all over the world. Sapa, a Northern mountainous city in Lao Cai was highly appreciated by its majestic mountain, terraced rice fields, and diverse culture of ethnic groups. Ranked 3 in the list, Hanoi, the capital of a thousand-year civilization has step-by-step been transforming to a vibrant city yet actively preserves the rich culture and beauty.
Hoi An ancient town
Foreign travelers cannot ignore the charming coastline, the ancient capital, and tranquil landscapes of green hills and mountains in Vietnam. The other names mentioned on the list include Halong Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Mui Ne, and Hue.
Accordingly, there are 20,934 voters throughout 28 countries and territories in total, and the survey was based on the leisure or business travelers who came to Vietnam in the last 12 months and plan to travel in the next year.
In the Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2021 by Tripadvisor readers, a biking tour around Hoi An ancient town was ranked 9th out of 20 best biking tours in the world.
Tripadvisor readers have voted two experiences in Vietnam among the Top 25 best travel experiences in the world including a Hue – Hoi An motorbike tour and a private Ho Chi Minh street food tour.
An Australian travel magazine called Traveller has recently ranked Hoi An second among Top 10 most charming destinations in the world without cars and motorbikes.
