The two new bus routesare: Sword Lake-Hàng Bông-Lê Duẩn-Trần Hưng Đạo-Quán Sứ-Lý Thường Kiệt-Hai Bà Trưng-Hanoi Opera House-Sword Lake and Sword Lake-Nguyễn Du-Yết Kiêu-Trần Hưng Đạo-Quán Sứ-Lý Thường Kiệt-Hai Bà Trưng-Hanoi Opera House-Sword Lake.
The new bus routes will present the cultural, historical and architectural values of old streets, with the focus on such attractions as HanoiTrain Station, Quan Su Temple, Hoa Lo Prison and Hanoi Opera House. The whole trip spans 8-10km and takes one hour to explore. Dong Xuan Company will purchase another 18 buses, upgrading the audio guide service and training bus drivers on customer service. The new service is set to be inaugurated this December.
Do Xuan Thuy, Managing Director of Dong Xuan Company said that “The new bus will not only beautify Hanoi’s streets but also make tourists comfortable about using public transport”.
