Previously, travelers from Hanoi and northern regions had to fly to Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City before catching another flight to Rach Gia City. Many flight schedules from Tan Son Nhat to Rach Gia remained early in the morning, forcing passengers to travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City the previous night, creating a lengthy and exhausting journey.
Fortunately, the direct flights now operate once daily, with a total flight duration of only 2 hours—significantly faster compared to the prior 8-hour charter flights. Bamboo Airways is utilizing Embraer 195 aircraft, which allows the airline to offer a business class option and maintain its 5-star service standards.
To celebrate the launch, passengers flying between February 1 and February 8, 2025, can enjoy an additional 10kg of checked baggage allowance.
