What can speak a clearer image of Vietnam than the iconic ao dai?
To bring viewers closer to the modern image of the traditional cultural symbol of Vietnam, and to foster a deeper understanding of its significance, the Vietnam Women's Museum is featuring a collection of "ao dai" by designer Pham Quoc Tuan in honor of the 11th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day.
The exhibit, "Quốc sắc thiên hương" (Beauty of the Land and Virtue of the Universe), showcases nearly 100 of the latest works from the acclaimed designer. Mr. Pham has been dedicated to the ao dai for over 15 years, creating around 3,000 pieces throughout his career. His works combine modern and traditional materials to enhance the timeless appeal of this iconic symbol of Vietnam's enduring beauty.
Since this is a one-day event, art lovers and admirers of the ao dai should plan to visit the Women's Museum, located at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hanoi on Thursday, October 20th, 2025. Tickets will be available at the door for just 50,000 VND.
VNO Production will report on the exhibit, so stay tuned for more videos coming soon!
