Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Music Festival
The Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism has just met with its counterparts in Cambodia and Laos and announced to organize a music festival in three countries including Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
In a recent collaborative effort, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam has partnered with officials from Cambodia and Laos to announce an upcoming music festival that will celebrate the cultural heritage of these three nations. This event, known as the Vietnam – Laos – Cambodia Music Festival, is scheduled to take place in July 2025 in Quang Tri province.
The Department of Performing Arts will manage a portion of the festival's funding as well as the overall program content. They will collaborate with the Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, along with the International Cooperation Department and the Vietnam Musicians’ Association, to ensure a vibrant and diverse lineup of performances. This festival aims to provide a unique opportunity for artistic groups from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to interact, exchange ideas, and foster friendships, thereby strengthening the cultural ties among the three nations.
