The best travel brands in Asia Pacific 2011 belong to Vietnam
The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi as well as the Nam Hai Resort Hoi An have proudly shared the first position on the list of Top 25 Leisure Hotels and Resorts in Asia Pacific in 2011 by Smart Travel Asia.
The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel Hanoi and the Nam Hai Resort Hoi An have once again claimed the top position on the list of Top 25 Leisure Hotels and Resorts in Asia Pacific, as recognized by Smart Travel Asia in 2025.
This poll, organized by the esteemed online travel magazine Smart Travel Asia, ran for three months (from May to July, 2025) and featured participation from over a million readers worldwide, including seasoned travelers and respected reporters and journalists. Over the last several years, the magazine has provided its dedicated readers with honest and objective assessments of hospitality brands. The results of this year's poll mark a significant achievement, highlighting the exceptional quality of both the Metropole and the Nam Hai, while also instilling pride in these celebrated establishments. Last year, both properties also featured on the list, with the Metropole ranked third and the Nam Hai ranked second.
In addition to securing the top spot among the Top 25 Asian leisure properties, the Metropole ranks 18th among Asia’s Top 25 Business Hotels and 8th among Asia’s Top 25 Conference Hotels. The Nam Hai continues to shine, earning recognition as one of Asia's top three Spa Hotels and Resorts.
