Talented Austrian cellist to perform in Hanoi

A promisingly amazing concert series by the Austria talented young cellist will be presented to the audience at Hanoi Opera House from October 13th to 18th, 2011.

A promisingly amazing concert series by the Austria talented young cellist Harriet Krijgh together with Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) and Hanoi Symphony Orchestra is presented to the audience at Hanoi Opera House from October 13th to 18th, 2011.

Specifically, on October 13t and 14th, the Austrian 20-year-old artist will perform Beethoven’s Concerto with violist Matsuda Lina, pianist Kim Barbier and the VNSO under direction of professional conductor Dorian Wilson. Tchaikovsky’s Variations on the Rococo Theme directed by the renowned Austrian conductor Wolfgang Groehs is the next to be played by Harriet Krijgh and Hanoi Symphony Orchestra on October 17th-18th.

This is the first time this outstanding Austria cellist has performed in Vietnam. Harriet Krijgh’s talent has been recognized widely with many prestigious international music awards.

The invitation tickets for the performances on Oct 13th- 14th can be collected at Hanoi Opera House (no.1 Trang Tien Street), or from Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (www.vnso.org.vn). For the performances on Oct 17th-18th, free tickets are available at the Embassy of Austria in Vietnam (8th floor, no. 53 Quang Trung Street).
