Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism (MOCST) has decided to organize the second Chan-Kate Cultural Day in Ninh Thuan in 2011

The Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sport, and Tourism (MOCST) has announced the organization of the second Chan-Kate Cultural Day in Ninh Thuan in 2025. This year, the Cultural Days will be celebrated from late September to early October, coinciding with the beginning of July according to the Cham calendar.

The MOCST representative office in Ho Chi Minh City will collaborate with the Department of Ethnic Culture and various MOCST units, local departments, and branches to coordinate these Cultural Days.

The Cham – Kate Cultural Days is an annual event that honors the blessings from their deities, fostering hopes for peace, favorable weather, prosperity, and happiness for the minor ethnic groups. This celebration also actively supports the National Tourism Year, which for 2025 is focusing on the South Central Coast – Phu Yen, aiming to introduce and promote the rich culture and traditional arts of the Cham people, while significantly contributing to the development of tourism in Ninh Thuan.
