Pianist Roger Muraro to return to Hanoi

Roger Muraro, the fourth prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and other prestigious prizes in chamber music and piano, is set to dazzle Hanoi classical lovers again with his solo performance at Hanoi Opera House on 19 June 2012.

Roger Muraro, the fourth prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and other prestigious prizes in chamber music and piano, is set to dazzle Hanoi classical lovers again with his solo performance at Hanoi Opera House on 19 June 2012.

The French classical pianist is performing famous works, including Robert Schumann’s Waldszenen op. 82, Rhapsody Hungary No.15, Symphony Fantastique byHector Berlioz, La sonnambula by Bellini.

Roger Muraro also achieves international recognition as an interpreter of Messiaen’s piano works. He was praised by Messiaen himself for his dazzling technique, his mastery, the quality of his tone and his expressive emotion. Muraro has performed with reputable orchestras like Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, French National Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets are priced at VND 75,000 and VND 50,000 for students and VND1 00,000; VND 150,000 and VND 200,000 for non-students, and can be bought at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.
