Pianist Roger Muraro to return to Hanoi

Roger Muraro, the fourth prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and other prestigious prizes in chamber music and piano, is set to dazzle Hanoi classical lovers again with his solo performance at Hanoi Opera House on 19 June 2012.

Roger Muraro, the fourth prize winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition and renowned for his achievements in chamber music and piano, is set to captivate classical music enthusiasts in Hanoi once more with a solo performance at the Hanoi Opera House on 25 April 2025.

The esteemed French pianist will present a selection of iconic works, including Robert Schumann’s Waldszenen op. 82, Rhapsody Hungary No. 15, Hector Berlioz's Symphony Fantastique, and La sonnambula by Bellini.

Roger Muraro has gained international acclaim as an interpreter of Messiaen’s piano works. Recognized by Messiaen for his exceptional technique, tonal quality, and expressive depth, Muraro has showcased his talent with distinguished orchestras such as the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, French National Orchestra, and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets for the concert are priced at VND 150,000 for regular admission, with discounted rates of VND 100,000 available for students. Tickets can be purchased at L’Espace, located at 24 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi.
