The Children’s Choir of the Paris National Opera is giving two performances of the opera L’Enfant et les Sortilèges (the Child and the Spells) at Hanoi Opera House (1 Trang Tien Street) on April 18th and 19th, 2012.

Twelve primary artists, 65 members of the choir and the symphony orchestra of the Hauts-de-Seine will perform the masterpiece opera by Maurice Ravel under the direction of conductor Gael Darchen. Reflecting the composer Ravel’s sensitivity and love for fairy tales, the one-act opera is expected to carry audiences on the wings of imagination and give children meaningful lessons.

The upcoming opera with participation of the world famous choir is considered a break from other contemporary art performances in the city these days, and a gift for children at the beginning of the summer.

The tickets are available at Hanoi Opera House, and priced at VND550,000/ 350,000/ 200,000.
