This is the third times TNT has come to Vietnam to present their plays. Macbeth had been performed in more than 20 countries, including America, Italy, Germany, Japan, Sweden, Kuwait; and now it is on its trip to three Asian countries in 2011.
Macbeth is the shortest tragedy written by Shakespeare about a regicide and its aftermath. It has been adapted to film, television, opera, novels, comic books, and other media. Although the dark masterpiece Macbeth is the first major Shakespeare’s production of director Paul Stebbings, it has gained enormous success in England, meeting international acclaim and also won several awards.
