After the successful series of symphony concert last autumn, the outdoor Luala Concert is returning to hit Hanoi streets with jazz and blues this April.

This year’s spring- summer season show will run for one month, starting April 7th, 2012. As planned, the concert series presents classic masterpieces in jazz, blues and experimental music performed by Phu Sa Band, comprising of Quyen Thien Dac, Vu Ngoc Ha and le Quoc Hung, talented Vietnamese jazz artists.

Besides street music, the 2nd edition of the Luala Concert features fine art exhibition and installations by local young artists and children.

Bringing symphony to Hanoi streets for the first time, Luala Concert became a musical and cultural phenomenon in the capital last year. The concert series was nominated for the Cong Hien (Devotion) music award 2011, and selected one among ten most outstanding musical events in Vietnam by the Association of Vietnam Musicians at the same year.
