July Spotlight Events in Ho Chi Minh City

In July, there are lots of activities and events happening in and around Ho Chi Minh City. There are four major conferences and exhibitions.

In July 2025, there are numerous activities and events taking place in and around Ho Chi Minh City. Four major conferences and exhibitions are set to make a splash during the hot summer month.

Expo and Conference:
July 02 - 06: VietBuild 2025 exhibition at Phu Tho Sporting Hall (01 Lu Gia Street, Ward 15, District 11).
July 05 - 08: The 8th Vietnam International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference at SECC, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, Tan Phong Ward, District 7.
July 14 - 17: “Consumer Digital World Expo”, the 16th annual largest international ICT Conference and Expo in Vietnam at the same venue.
July 21 - 23: Shoes and Leather Vietnam Conference at SECC.

Entertainment:
For entertainment options, on weekend evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., the “Xin Chao” Show—a vibrant combination of dance, martial arts, and music showcasing Vietnamese culture and history—takes place at 23/9 Park, Pham Ngu Lao Street, District 1. Tickets are priced at $12.50 for adults, $6.25 for children aged 6 to 10 years old, and free for kids under 6. More information can be found on the Xin Chao website.

Furthermore, an extensive collection of over 400 antiques from the Tay Son Dynasty (18th century) will be exhibited until October 31, 2025, at the Vietnam History Museum located at 02 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1.

Live music performances continue to be a staple in the Dong Khoi area, available from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at various coffee shops, bars, and pubs. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.
