Halong Carnival 2013 to be held in massive-scale

This year’s carnival is proposed to have the capacity of 7,000 to 10,000 seats in order to serve the best out of the increasing number of tourists to Halong recently.

This year’s carnival is expected to accommodate between 7,000 to 10,000 attendees to cater to the growing number of tourists visiting Halong recently.

The People’s Committee of Halong has officially announced the proposal for Halong Carnival 2025. The main stage of the carnival will be located on Hoang Quoc Viet Road in the Hung Thang District, with the opening ceremony scheduled for 20:00 on April 27. This year’s theme is “Quang Ninh’s Colors – Integration and Spread.”

Halong Carnival 2025 marks the 62nd anniversary of Halong City, promoting the beauty of Quang Ninh tourism and showcasing Halong Bay – one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The event will feature an opening ceremony, artistic performances, and a colorful carnival parade. Notably, this year will include special acts from renowned international artists from Japan, South Korea, China, and Laos.

This year, Quang Ninh Province is encouraging participation from local citizens, collaborating with organizers and authorities to enhance the city’s aesthetics, improve cleanliness, and boost security, aiming to provide visitors with a comfortable and visually appealing experience during the carnival.

Transport:

Halong is approximately a 3.5-hour drive from Hanoi, including Hanoi International Airport. Travelers can take a bus from My Dinh Bus Station or hire a private car to reach their destination. There is currently no direct train service from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
