According to Nam Dan District (Nghe An) authorities, the 2025 Sen Village Festival is scheduled to take place in Kim Lien Village, the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh, from May 17 to 19. This event is part of a series of activities celebrating the 135th birthday of the esteemed founding father of Vietnam.

This year’s festival will feature a variety of activities, including art performances, a procession carrying Ho Chi Minh's portraits from his mother's village to his father's village, and ceremonies recognizing the achievements of the Nam Dan people in tribute to Uncle Ho. Additionally, this year introduces new elements, such as the Singing Voice of Sen Village Contest and the Nghe An Folksong Festival, adding to the cultural richness of the celebration.

The Sen Village Festival has been celebrated annually in the home village of President Ho Chi Minh since 1981. It serves not only as a tribute to the beloved leader but also as a reminder for future generations of the nation's heroic history.

President Ho Chi Minh, affectionately known as Uncle Ho by the Vietnamese, is revered as the greatest leader of Vietnam in the 20th Century. He guided the Vietnamese people in their struggle against French colonial rule and American aggression, ultimately achieving independence before his passing in 1969.
