Festival of Indigenous Coastal villages to Open Soon
In an attempt to promote tourism in the south-central and Phu Yen region of Vietnam, one of the main festivities is set to open for a period from August the 1st to the 4th.
In an effort to boost tourism in the south-central region and Phu Yen of Vietnam, one of the major festivals is scheduled to take place from August 1 to August 4, 2025.
The Festival of Local Fishing Villages will feature a grand opening ceremony broadcasted live on national television on the evening of August 2. This four-day celebration will include a range of activities such as performances, sports competitions, a cooking contest focusing on traditional dishes, exhibitions showcasing local activities, and presentations of historical documents from the indigenous communities. Additionally, there will be a display of local products to attract interest and investment from both domestic and international businesses.
This festival represents an excellent opportunity for local residents to share their rich traditions and for officials to highlight tourism in this picturesque part of Vietnam. Attendees are expected from 10 provinces across Vietnam, extending from the south-central region all the way to Ho Chi Minh City. The event will also host members of the Fourth Regional Navy, senior officers from the Border Guard, and several units from the Navy Special Forces.
Most activities will be centered in Phan Rang - Tháp Chàm, located in Ninh Thuận.
